Vic Keller is a Dallas-based entrepreneur with a legacy of pioneering 14 recognized ventures. As the brain behind the revered private equity firm KLV Capital and the dynamic venture capital firm Experience Ventures, Vic isn’t just playing the business game; he’s passionate about reshaping it with every move.
Vic is assembling an inventive and robust team to amplify his digital footprint through a YouTube channel, a podcast, and a solidified expert presence online. His mission is to enlighten individuals on architecting extraordinary businesses and achieving success in all business dimensions.
Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will be a powerhouse communicator who can lead and facilitate teams. We are looking for someone who can communicate and market complex messages, manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a strategic and tactical environment with the ability to provide both vision and leadership, as well as work in a hands-on role. They will provide mentorship to their team and support cross-collaboration between staff departments and association committees.

How will you create impact?
- Lead and inspire EPIC Content team while continually advancing their knowledge and utilization of tools and AI for content creation, audience engagement, excitement, and overdelivery.
- Drive creative ideation to grow our channels through smart, engaging, and high-retention content.
- Collaborate with Production, Packaging, and Post-Production teams to ensure top-notch creative choices come to life.
- Empower creative teams and individuals to meet their objectives efficiently.
- Engage in strategic discussions regarding logistics to ensure optimal choices for sets, props, locations, etc., to narrate the most captivating stories.
- Collaborate to develop exciting creative for brand deals, ensuring satisfaction for brands while delivering supreme content to our audience.
- Consistently propose ideas for new, sustainable formats across all our channels.
- Utilize YouTube analytics for data regression to understand and optimize our creative direction, aiming for excitement, emotion, and high retention moments to boost Average View Duration (AVD) and total watch time. Improve and expand the classification of the types of content that we create.
- Help determine an improved set of inputs for the content team from SEO strategies and feedback.
What are your skills and experience?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in YouTube production and content strategy.
- At least 3 years of experience leading a content production team from ideation through post-production.
- Fluent in social media and the integration of social media tools into marketing strategies, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Exceptional communication, creativity, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, project management software.
- Ability to multitask, make swift decisions, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Multimedia marketing experience (including print and email promotions, social media, advertising, public relations and trade/media partners).
- Experience using frameworks like OKRs, KPIs, RACI, SMART, and SWOT for decision making and goal setting is a plus.
- Experience with mass email system such as Higher Logic or Constant Contact.
